Personality: Hyoroshi is a diligent man of exceptional constitution possessing a rugged, working-class mindset; get whatever it is done, and get it done well, regardless of the obstacles before him. Indeed, there isn’t an ounce of entitlement or prideful pretenses in his bones; should anyone encounter him away from the bustle of life, they will likely find him meditating or reading a book from the World of the Living. This is not to say Hyoroshi is without emotion, however–if anything, it takes but a snarky comment or lighthearted tease to get him animated. Most of the time–as long as the instigator is merely jesting–Hyoroshi’s boisterousness is equally in jest. In essence, Hyoroshi can be considered the honest, sociable, considerate father of the 7th Division.
Iwamura is not as shallow as he seems. At his very core is an endless hunger for self-improvement that drives him to distance himself from the connotations of his appearance. He has Bashira herself to thank, and though she may have left him behind for the Captain-Commander position, his aspiration remains the same: to become half the person that she is. In line with this core tenet is his stark aversion to combat–in his view, a commitment that lowers its participants to their most base elements. Should he have to raise his Zanpakuto, he remains stalwart in fighting with honor, restraint and respect. It is an ideology that has served him well..at least, for now.

Iwamura’s face-paint patterns change on a near-daily basis–always with some sort of tribal design, sometimes as small as hash-marks and as big as an art-piece that covers nearly all of his face. Furthermore, the hair on his body grows as any human's would--regular grooming sessions are a necessity.

Ability Name: Shishino Kyoei (Beast’s Vanity)
Ability Description: Hyoroshi condenses his Spiritual Energy into wisps of flame that hover upon up to four claws. From here, he can either slash the air or thrust his arm forward, causing the condensed flame to release from him in either a slashing arc or a puncturing beam. Each wisp can only injure one target per arc/beam at Hado #20 strength and do not penetrate/continue on towards other targets should they hit. In either case, they travel for fifteen feet and further inflict 1st-degree burns. Should they hit nothing, they dissipate into nothing. 2 post cooldown.

Shakunetsu no Shinpan (Blazing Beast’s Judgement) - When the target is within five feet of Hyoroshi and when they make contact with his Released Zanpakuto, regardless of if damage is dealt, Iwamura is able to summon a flaming spectral copy of his right arm and Zanpakuto that can then be controlled to take additional swings at the target. Should the target be hit by this specter, its sword deals slashing damage equivalent to a real strike from Iwamura alongside 1st-degree burns (this can stack with damage from the actual sword, should damage be dealt simultaneously). The arm remains active for 3 turns before requiring a 3-turn cooldown, and it will not attack should the target exit the five-foot range.
Shinseina Sasagebutsu (Sacred Offering) – When the target is within ten feet of Hyoroshi, upon thrusting an arm up, a pillar of flame explodes from beneath the target at the speed of a Bala and engulfs the target, dealing 2nd-degree burns. The pillar reaches up to 50 feet into the air and inflicts a Cero's damage. This ability cannot be cast if the target is outside of the ten-foot range, and it requires a 2-turn cooldown.
Buzokugishiki (Tribal Ceremony) - When the target is within fifteen feet of Hyoroshi, he may draw the symbol for Down [ 下 ] with his finger and swipe at his target. At once, pillars of flame with the circumference and spacing of jail bars erupt from the ground in a circle around Hyoroshi and his target that arc inward into a single point. All pillars appear at once and spin clockwise with the speed of a Bala. Said pillars are 40 feet in height; should the target seek to escape the jail, they may pass through the pillars or roof freely, though not without taking 2nd-degree burns. This ability remains active for 3 turns before requiring a 3-turn cooldown; should the target escape the jail, the ability disappears. If the target would be outside or above the pillars upon activation, they are not affected.
Ikenie Kuronokusari (Sacrifice’s Black Chains) - When the target is within fifteen feet of Hyoroshi and if any of his other flame-based Shikai abilities are active, he is able to summon a thick black chain from anywhere on the fire’s surface that wraps around the target’s limb closest to that section of fire, suspending that limb in place. The chain remains in place for the target’s next turn and is the equivalent of Bakudo #70 in strength. 3-turn cooldown.

Saku (Cleave) - This ability is activated immediately upon activating Bankai--it is effectively the final component of the ritual. The moment the incantation is uttered, his Released Zanpakuto violently and abruptly spins forward from its current position while producing a 10-foot-wide arc of white flames. The sword and arc travel for 25 meters unimpeded and at Gran Rey Cero speeds, striking anything it hits (depending on the starting point, this can include Iwamura) with Hado 60 strength and leaving 2rd-degree burns. Upon reaching 25 meters, both the sword and arc disintegrate into nothing. As Bankai can effectively only be used once per fight, this ability is one-time-use; it cannot be activated again.
Enten (Scorch) - Upon activation, the space within a 30-foot sphere around Iwamura increases in temperature to a near-unbearable degree. Staying within the 30-foot range after two posts produces 1st-degree burns across any exposed flesh (i.e. any body part not covered by clothing or anything that may be covered by racial traits, such as a Hollow Mask or Resurrecion details). Should anyone stay within range for 5 total posts or longer, the burns grow to be second-degree. Leaving the range for 1 entire post causes the enemy's temperature to reset, but not their burns to heal. This ability remains active until the fight ends or Iwamura is defeated.
Aikoku (Lament) - Iwamura unleashes a bellowing roar that produces a shockwave capable of stopping physical/non-energy projectiles and weakening energy projectiles by 1 stage. This ability has a 3-post cooldown.
Zenseiryouhou (Regress) - Upon slashing with his claws, Iwamura unleashes a 1-foot-wide, 6-foot-long arc of flames that travels at Bala speeds. The arc inflicts cero damage and first-degree burns to anything it touches, continuing unimpeded for 50 meters before dissipating. 1-post cooldown.
