Personality: Astrid imagines herself as a brutally strong warrior that others bow down to in respect of her might. In truth, she will brashly state her desires but quickly bow down and become deferential when faced with power or authority. Frankly, Astrid only lives up to her delusions of grandeur when dealing with Humans or Hollows who are vastly weaker than herself. She considers Humans to be unthinking cogs in the machine, and while she will protect them when possible, she will certainly not go out of her way to do so.
Astrid is not one to back down from a challenge, however, even one she knows she is hard-pressed to win in. She is pride incarnate, capable of boasting about her strength regardless of who is in her presence, even if she will back down immediately upon being told to. Astrid is excellent at holding grudges, and has a top tier memory when it comes to people who've wronged her in the past. She does not forgive, and she does not forget. That said, she will overlook past actions if she proves superior to the one who wronged her previously.
She loathes when people misgender her as male despite making no attempt to feminize her appearance. She even has a low speaking voice which doesn't help her case at all. Once is an honest mistake but more than that and it's easy to invoke her wrath.

History: Born somewhere in the nordic region 325 years ago, Astrid lived out her days as a soldier. She perished in the Great Northern War, and was summarily sent to Soul Society as she had no hard feelings about her death to attach her to the human world. Upon arrival, and learning the truth of Soul Society, she immediately became a Shinigami and has been practicing to become better ever since.Exposition:

General Fighting Style: In battle, even against other Shinigami, Astrid shows no mercy. In spars and other types of training, she will injure her opponents as though she were fighting for real, rather than intentionally holding back even slightly.Strengths: Strength, Speed

Ability Description: Astrid is capable of forming footholds underneath her regardless of where she is, even if normal air walking would be disabled. They are shattered upon being attacked by any amount of force, but she can just as easily make more.
SHIKAI
Appearance: In Shikai, Enkidu takes the form of two ornate nordic axes that Astrid dual wields. She can throw these to great accuracy and effect.Ability Name: Teleportation
Ability Description: Astrid is capable of teleporting to either of her axes. This has no limit. However, because her axes are always visible, there's always an indication of where she is going to reappear after teleporting.
BANKAI
New Name: GilgameshAppearance: In Bankai, Gilgamesh takes the form of two long axes (see picture above) that Astrid dual wields. She can throw these to great accuracy and effect.
