Personality: Tao is a casually cruel individual, who seems to exist only for his own enjoyment. He finds the suffering of humanity in particular to his tastes. While he can hold off immediate gain for future dividends, he is very much a creature of instinct.
Tao is a schemer, with ever shifting goals and seemingly infinite knives that he can plant in people’s back’s only to go ahead and betray those he defected to not long after. He tends to justify his existence through usefulness however, and he is more likely to leave an ‘ally’ hollow to the wolves than actively betray them.
If he comes across someone particularly interesting he will often make it his goal to ensure their lives are miserable as possible.

Ability Description: Tao can manipulate his blood freely around his body.

Ability Description: Tao has a weaker than average Heirro in exchange for a heightened healing speed. This alongside the ability to create excess blood to utilize for his technique give him an exceptional supply.

Ability Name: Stinger
Ability Description: Tao fires small condensed and hardened blood projectiles, often using finger guns akimbo. These projectiles are barbed, causing additional damage upon being removed.
- Bala projectiles, slight guidance towards a target.
- Shot in bursts of five.
- These stick into soft targets and embed themselves in armour. Only deals additional damage to soft targets upon removal.
Ability Name: Nova
Ability Description: Tao detonates groups of stinger projectiles in a shower of shrapnel. These serrated pieces cause tearing wounds on those struck.
- Can detonate groups of 5 stinger projectiles, either in close proximity or if embedded within a target.
- Causes a 15m shrapnel explosion centred on the target or cluster of projectiles.
- Causes deep wounds that require medical attention to properly close.
- Cero damage, 1 post cooldown.
Ability Name: Sanguine Lance
Ability Description: Tao can form a deadly lance from his blood that he can than throw at an opponent. The lance will attempt to pierce through its target to explode inside for maximum damage.
- Gran Rey Damage on impact, 3 post cooldown.
- 10m radius explosion.
Ability Name: Demon Engine
Ability Description: By reinforcing his circulartory system to handle additional blood flow, Tao overcharges this system with a central pulsing core of blood under his chest, causing an eerie glow through his ribcage that matches a deep pulsing beat that reaches rapid rates. This core pulses with rapid pace and provides exceptional strength in exchange for his regenerative abilities.
- Boost Mode: 1x Strength, 1x Agility. Loses regenerative abilities for the duration.
- Lasts 5 posts. One use per thread.
- Can be ended early by hitting the core with at least cero damage.
- Enters a fatigue state for 2 posts following before regeneration begins again.
RESURRECTION

Ability Name: Blood Manipulation Mastery
Ability Description: Tao’s control over his blood is enhanced, in Resurrection his zanpakuto dissolves and merges with his bloodstream, allowing for exceptionally durable constructs as temporary weapons.
- Can launch cero level attacks from his immediate area, 1 per post.
- Allows Tao to defend against zanpakuto level attacks by forming portions of the formless zanpakuto in his bloodstream to achieve this bare handed.
- Can also create temporary weapons in this form. Maximum one at a time.
Ability Name: High-Speed Regeneration
Ability Description: Tao completely sacrifices his heirro in resurrection to achieve High-Speed regeneration.
Ability Name: Stinger Swarm
Ability Description: Tao can launch more advanced stinger projectiles once he tags a target with a basic one. These will turn around and take a second pass at hitting their target.
- Fires a swarm of five bala-projectiles
- These projectiles fan out and home in on previously struck targets.
- Any that miss will turn around and try again.
- 3 post cooldown.
Ability Name: Surging Blood
Ability Description: Tao condenses a mass of blood between his palms to a critical point before firing a screeching beam that achieves excessive forward speeds. The initial attack is very fast and has exceptional piercing power. This attack can be maintained, but shifting the aim is slow and lacks the armour piercing ability.
- High-speed cero with exceptional piercing damage initially.
- Damage tapers off after impact, the aim can then be maintained for the rest of the post to sweep the beam across an area.
- Follow-up beam also cero damage, doesn’t pierce armour.
- Three post cooldown.
