Shihoin Izanagi is known for his calm and calculating nature. He is inviting to most, showing a gentle and jovial disposition at times. Playful at times, a certified tease and someone who likes to dabble in sarcasm. He is caring, kind and respectful when the time calls for it. He is a man of duty, adhering to his responsibilities as someone from the Shihoin clan. Meanwhile never forgetting his duty to the Gotei and what it represents to so many. He is headstrong and fierce when he needs to be. Izanagi has a fiery temper if provoked, a truly frightening person instilling fear and caution in others with a mere glance.
He is a healer and a destroyer, never shying away from his duties as a Shinigami. His role as a healer is not an open invitation for disrespect towards him. Izanagi does not tolerate such things, and while he may give fair warning. Failure to heed said warning can be a fatal mistake. Izanagi is both book smart and street smart, doing whatever it takes to get the job done. This shows up when trying to save lives or take it. He is not above using underhanded tactics to get the job done. There is a time and place for everything. A time for peace, healing and slaughtering. His aura changes from calm, cool and collected to a volcano erupting if pushed.
Izanagi is a hard worker, trains hard, keeps his body in tip top shape.He enjoys reading, drinking tea, sake and the company of women. He is quick witted in any given situation he finds himself in.

Physical Traits:
Shihoin Izanagi is known for his long silver hair, handsome face and piercing blue eyes. He is more of a regal person, exuding class and nobility with a physique to match his stature. He sports earrings which may change from time to time. His clothing tends to have tassels attached to them, with his haori changing in design ever so often. Izanagi’s skin tone is caramel in colour, making him easily identifiable as someone from the Shihoin clan. He sports a blue sash around his waist, with the interior of his Haori being the same colour. Izanagi tends to wear a pair of gloves, which may also change from time to time. Stylistically, he likes to make changes to his outward appearance. There are times when his chest is for all to see and other times it's covered.

General Fighting Style: Izanagi's fighting style relies on speed and efficiency and masterful and precise movements. He can be very nimble and graceful, though he is not opposed to fighting like a brawler. He can fight at close range and long range, favouring neither as he's equipped to dealing with both. Ability Name: Isshin Enkou- Restoration Flame
Ability Description: Izanagi is able to use his flames for healing purposes instead of burning. Doing so he is able to restore wounds and give the target energy at the cost of his own energy. This healing is 10% per post for wounds and 2% per post for Energy and he must either have hands on, or have his flames attached/touching his target in some manner.
Ability Name: Haijaku Hono- Repelling Flame
Ability Description: Izanagi encases his target, or himself, in a shield of flames which does not give heat or pain to himself or the target but can burn anyone else who comes into contact with it to the first degree and physically repel them from touching the intended target of this ability. Each shield shares a CD, meaning regardless of which one he uses he can only use one per post and must wait the CD to use a different shield.

ZANPAKUTO
Sealed Appearance: Jouka no Kaji in its sealed form is a regular sized Katana with a black hilt and gold coloured tsuba. The tsuba is of a square shape. Its blade is silver in colour with a black edge. Its sheath is also black and is often worn either across Izanagi's back or diagonally across his lower back. Overview:
Jouka no Kaji is a fire type Zanpakuto with a unique twist. It is suited for both combat and support. This shines through in the fact it brings destruction and can heal as well. The flames produced by Jouka no Kaji rapidly burn away Reiatsu, Reishi, energy such as kidou, cero etc. As it burns, it consumes whatever stands before it. Thus making the flames of Jouka no Kaji burn even hotter compared to most. Equally, Jouka no Kaji can be used to heal and repair the most grievous of injuries. The flames tend to purify the impurities afflicting its wielder and others. As such, it can rapidly heal injuries, regenerate limbs, rid the body of poison and toxins. It's akin to a phoenix being reborn anew. (Will be broken down into abilities)
Ability Name: Kou Gogyou- Phoenix Fire
Description: Izanagi manipulates the flames of Jouka no Kaji to accomplish various tasks. He is able to manipulate the flames produced by his Zanpakuto up to 500ft. He can use the flames to attack, defend and to heal which is connected to his personal abilities. He is however not limited to only this. There are numerous ways in which Izanagi can utilise the flames of Jouka no Kaji. This particular ability is rather versatile. If it involves fire then safe to say Izanagi can probably do it.
Ability Name: Kaitai Kasai- Dismantling Flames
Description: For one post Izanagi is able to empower his zanpaktou's flames to erode what they come into contact with through sheer increased heat of the flames themselves. The total size of an attack or series of attacks, performed by this ability cannot exceed a dimension higher than that of a typical single story building at one time. This ability cannot create a power greater than a gran rey cero and gains a CD equal to the total output Izanagi produces/uses during the post this is active plus an additional post. (Example: If he makes a Gran rey cero flame "beam" with this ability it would have a four post CD.) This essentially makes the temporary "new and special fire" more likely to defeat other forms of attacks as long as the flame being used by Jouka no Kaji is strengthened enough to warrant doing so in the first place. (Jouka no Kaji makes a cero of flame using this ability. It will likely eat an oncoming Cero and continue to travel towards an opponent anyways.) (Counter example: Jouka no Kaji's fire is a cero level and someone uses a gran rey cero, Jouka no Kaji's fire loses, but will still weaken the gran rey cero by a single cero's total worth.) This includes attacks other than fire, but to be clear fire itself is not a natural counter to this flame.
Ability Name: Shutsugen- Emergence
Description: Shutsugen sees Izanagi summon a giant phoenix, said to be his Zanpakuto spirit materialized. The bird is made up of flames and is generally used for a specific purpose. The phoenix is used for shielding and protection. Capable of shielding multiple targets, using its healing flames to remove any status ailments affecting the user and targets of Izanagi's choosing. Using this ability, Izanagi can heal the most grievous of injuries to himself and others of his choosing. He can restore broken bones, heal life threatening injuries, and is capable of high speed regeneration of lost limbs. The giant phoenix is capable of flying and Izanagi is sometimes seen flying around on the giant bird of flames. It casts a shadow as it soars through the skies moving at great speeds. While tis version of the phoenix can last indefinitely, it's ability to heal and shield would gain cooldowns based on the amount/power of the healing/shielding done. It may also only cleanse target(s) of status ailments once per three posts.
Ability Name: Kaen Katta- Flame Cutter
Description: The flame cutter technique sees Izanagi fires a flaming getsuga clone for Gran rey cero that covers an 80 by 80 ft wave area from the point of release from the Zanpaktou. 3 post CD.
BANKAI
New Name: KagutsuchiAppearance: At the point of releasing his Bankai, the flames of Jouka no Kaji surround Izanagi before closing in on him and explodes outwards. The explosion pushes away anyone or anything within his immediate vicinity. And in the aftermath, Kagutsuchi’s bankai is revealed. Izanagi now has a pair of large phoenix wings made of fire. These wings can be used for flight and general combat while in its Bankai state. He has feathers of fire covering his Haori all over, with his own long silver hair having sections covered in feathers. His motif is that of a phoenix. His Zanpakuto remains the same as its Shikai state.

Kagutsuchi’s Bankai is pretty much the same as its Shikai, except far more powerful.
- Technique Form:
Description: Hinostubasa summons forth a giant phoenix made up of flames. It is very much similar to the Sokyoku when released into its kikoo form. The technique itself lasts for three posts unlike before because THIS version can do actual damage, possessing intense heat as a radiant aura that extends 100ft to anyone that isn't Izanagi or his ally. While in use, Hinotsubasa gets five bala spits of fire per post, one cero beam of “heat” per post that deals second degree burns, and can explode for a gran rey cero either at will or upon death/expiration for 100ft as flaming rain which will deal a bala to anyone hit by any of the rain (Up to a full cero in damage if hit by more rain. which is likely.). If it explodes according to Izanagi’s will, then the cool down kicks in as normal. Much like its counterpart, Izanagi can use the phoenix as a mount while the technique is in use. It has a three post cool down once it's been defeated or expires.
Ability Name: Hibashira- Pillars of Flame
Description:Kagutsuchi creates a dozen flaming pillars around one target, each pillar is made of the "Dismantling Flames" that can consume energy, this cage has the total energy of a gran rey cero. Touching the cage deals Cero damage to you and first degree burns. Passing through the cage does the full gran rey cero. The cage forms at the bottom of a target and encircles them in the flaming pillars before closing at the top. This happens quickly, but is not infallible. The cage expands and increases in size according to the target trapped inside. 3 post cool down.
