Personality: Bashira can be somewhat difficult to be around. She's a sticker for traditions, though has been known on rare occasions to bend or break her personal code in the past. What conditions have to be met for her to make this decision are unknown and seemingly inconsistent, almost as if it's done on a whim.
That being said, the woman takes her job very seriously. For those underneath her, that means she expects the best from them, and should they fail to meet those expectations, she'll do what she can to make sure they have the tools to succeed in the future. Whether this is counseling or near lethal training depends on the nature of their struggles.
Given her position, Bashira doesn't see much in the way of combat. Pretty much any conflict falls under the domain of the divisions of the Gotei, and she believes that her captains should be up to the task. Should a troublemaker be strong enough for her to have to get involved, her response is to respond with overwhelming force.

BACK-DROP
History: Having grown up in a time of chaos far from the safety of more well to do families, Bashira has always known what it means to struggle and fight for what she wants. This has cemented her beliefs in all progress being rooted in strife, and that strength and personal gains must be acquired through hard work and diligence.Born as a spirit, Bashira didn't know her parents long enough to remember her own family name, nor can she remember if she ever even had one. It wasn't until she was given a position in the Gotei that she even took a last name, picking one at random and hardly seeing a point in having one. After witnessing the behaviors of some of the bigger clans, she had to be coerced into doing so. She decided that day that any children she might have would not be allowed to use the Kinoshita last name to achieve anything, and that they must fight for their own futures.
It was within the Gotei that she would meet a rival and primary source of headaches, Ika Mazi. While a suitable rival, the man stood in opposition to everything she was, and everything his father had done to improve the Gotei and Seireitei. To further complicate their relationship, Bashira was only offered to take the position of Captain Commander after Ika turned it down, a fact that has been a sticking point ever since.

Ability Name: Sun's Blessing
Ability Description: Bashira is able to produce and manipulate light at will. She can fire the light as a projectiles that are roughly equivalent to a bala in strength.. it can also be turned into a vaguely physical object, such as a knife, hammer, or a sword. On terms of social roleplay, it can be used to heat things, such as tea that's gone cold. When her temper flares, the immediate area around her will grow immediately hotter as well. Does no actual damage.
Ability Name: Turning Swallow Cutter
Ability Description: a technique from the Ganryu style she tends to prefer. Said to be fast enough to cut a bird out of the air mid flight, in the hands of a shinigami, it's much more powerful. Consisting of a strike downward followed immediately by and upward strike, Bashira is able to disrupt air currents. She's also added her own flair to it, moving after the first strike to land the second one from a different angle.

Spirit: Hinode herself takes the form of a human with porcelain skin. Cracks in her skin appear to have been repaired with the traditional Kintsugi techniques. She is dressed in garb associated with the goddess Amaterasu, and holds herself in extremely high regard. Chastises others with little regard with exception to Bashira, which she will use a more gentle tone when dishing out advice or talking shit.

Ability Name: Purging Sunlight
Ability Description: Regardless of time of day, a ball of fire appears in the sky and bathes the area in bright light. Surrounding flammable objects may light on fire from the heat of said sun. Shines indefinitely until extinguished. Up to 3 solar flares can be launched from the sphere, cero in strength, which will also extinguish it. Solar flares are physical blasts of fire. 100ft range CD 3 posts
Ability Name: Shimmering Songblade
Ability Description: Coats sword with burning light, enhancing strength of physical attacks. The power can erupt on striking, which unleashes an explosion which is also a cero in strength. Can also be used to diminish strength of incoming blocks le attacks or provide escape from some entrapment abilities. One post CD
Ability Name: Solar Body
Ability Description: defensive technique done by infusing the body with the power of the sun. Lasts for 3 posts, but is ended once Bashira takes a hit. Capable of reducing incoming attacks by one cero level in strength. CD 2 post
Ability Name: Supernova Stage 1
Ability Description: Mostly a last resort. Any ongoing abilities are cancelled out and energy is quickly drawn in in the form of a vortex. Energy is then released in a Gran Rey Cero in the form of a massive explosion. Deals significant damage to surroundings as well, obviously. 100 meter range CL 3 posts

This armor, but obviously she's not a monkey. Her hair flows freely, as if constantly blown by unseen winds. A large glyph of sunlight constantly shines behind her, causing her to glow. Eyes are completely white and glow as well, and her face is covered in glowing lines.
Abilities: Ability Name: Supernova Phase 2: White Dwarf
Ability Description: Functions the same as phase 1, but pulls the opponent towards Bashira at a distance of 150 meters after the explosion with tremendous force to aid in follow-up attacks, and has a wider radius. Surroundings are completely obliterated, anything outside the blast radius are pushed further away by a shockwave. Cero oscura damage, 5 post CD

Ability Description: tornado of solar fire surrounds Bashira, significantly reducing the range of which enemies can flee from her. Making contact with the flames causes damage equal to a cero. The pillar extends out approximately 50 meters, and up about 150. Lasts 3 posts, 3 post cl
Ability Name: Twilight
Ability Description: All light and heat is drained from the surrounding area, plunging the area into a deep cold darkness. The only senses hindered by this are sight and touch, so hearing is still fine. Does no actual damage, mostly used to give followup attacks the advantage of surprise. CD 3 post, one post duration
Ability Name: Vindicated Rays: Cosmic Prison
Ability Description: Bashira plunges her blades into the ground, producing 6 rays of sunlight that seek out her target. The rays are intended to seek her for and trap them by taking formation around them, then closing in and exploding for double cero damage. Each one is roughly 2 bala in strength on their own should all else fail, and can abruptly change direction 3 times before losing form. Stops tracking after 1 post. Max range of 500 ft CL 4
